Operating and Safety Instructions

CO₂ lasers are high-intensity lasers that are either invisible or barely visible. During equipment operation, it is strictly prohibited to open the machine enclosure to observe the marking area. Laser safety goggles rated for a 10.6 μm wavelength must be worn, and it must be confirmed that the machine enclosure, protective shields, red light indicator, and emergency stop button are in proper working order.Engraving, openwork, and carving processes pose a risk of open flame. Before processing, verify that the material is compatible with the process parameters. Do not leave the machine during operation, and ensure that fume extraction and fire suppression measures are in place. Fumes and odors generated during processing must be exhausted through the fume extraction and filtration system, and the work area must be kept well-ventilated.Dedicated temperature-controlled chillers should be inspected regularly for water temperature, water level, and pipe seals to prevent insufficient cooling, which can lead to laser power attenuation or component damage; galvanometers and optical path lenses should be cleaned regularly as required, and protective lenses should be replaced promptly if contaminated or damaged. The equipment must be reliably grounded; workshops with significant voltage fluctuations are advised to install a voltage stabilizer. Before changing materials or adjusting the process, conduct a test run on a small sample to confirm the power, speed, focal length, and marking depth before proceeding to mass production.

Selection Recommendations

When selecting a model, first confirm the processing method and material: for engraving patterns, openwork, or deep engraving, a 250W or 350W configuration is recommended to ensure sufficient power reserve; for applications primarily involving surface lettering, shallow engraving, and fine patterns, a 150W configuration will meet most needs. You should also verify the maximum outer dimensions of the workpiece and the required marking area. The standard marking area ranges from 400 × 400 mm to 750 × 750 mm; if the workpiece exceeds this range, you can opt for a custom 1.2-meter or 2-meter platform. In terms of precision, a minimum line width of 0.2 mm and a minimum character size of 0.4 mm are suitable for most fine lines and small characters; if finer details are required, we recommend conducting a test mark for confirmation.Additionally, please confirm the workshop’s ventilation and fume extraction conditions, the placement of the chiller, voltage specifications, and the equipment’s feed path. For special materials or processes, please provide actual samples for test marking and verification.

Applications

The Super Laser Marking and Engraving Machine is suitable for processes such as cut-out designs, pyrography, engraving, and lettering. It can be used for cutting and marking garment transfer films, pyrography on apparel fabrics, engraving on denim garments, die-cutting and marking of self-adhesive labels, engraving on bamboo and wood products, cutting and engraving acrylic, and lettering on ceramics. The combination of a high-power CO₂ laser, a three-axis dynamic marking system, and a custom-designed large-format platform is ideal for processing scenarios with high technical requirements, large production batches, or large workpiece dimensions. It is also suitable for production lines that need to handle both pyrography and engraving processes.
