Equipment Overview

Designing Equipment to Meet Actual Production Goals

Blankets are a critical consumable for dye-sublimation roller transfer machines. During operation, they press the fabric and transfer paper firmly against the surface of the heated roller, directly determining the uniformity of the transfer and the clarity of the design.This blanket is made fromDuPont raw materials imported from the United Statesand is available in three thicknesses:8 mm, 9 mm, and 10 mm. Dimensions can be customized based on the machine’s drum diameter and effective width.

Product Features

  • Raw materials imported from DuPont in the U.S.:High-temperature resistant with excellent elastic recovery, suitable for long-term continuous transfer printing.
  • Three thickness options:8 mm, 9 mm, and 10 mm, selectable based on machine model and process requirements.
  • High temperature resistance:Over 200°C under normal transfer conditions; the maximum temperature limit is matched to the equipment’s heat transfer oil, capable of withstanding heat transfer oil operating conditions of 400–500°C.
  • Customizable dimensions:Customized based on the machine’s roller diameter, effective width, and original felt dimensions.
  • Comprehensive range of connection options:All standard connection types are available and matched to the specific machine model.

Customization Instructions

Felt pads are custom-made to fit your machine’s dimensions,with a minimum order quantity of 1 piece and a lead time of 7 days. Please confirm the following information before requesting a quote:

  • Equipment brand, model, and year of manufacture;
  • Cylinder diameter and effective width;
  • Desired thickness (8 mm / 9 mm / 10 mm);
  • Circumference and width of the original blanket, or a photo of the original blanket laid flat;
  • Required jointing method (unless otherwise specified, we will match the machine model).

Please send us the above information, and we will verify the dimensions and provide a quote.

Replacement and Maintenance

  • Regularly inspect the felt surface for scratches, hardening, or bubbling;
  • Keep the blanket separated from the roller when the machine is shut down to prevent prolonged contact at high temperatures;
  • Avoid scratching the blanket surface with hard objects, scissors, or rough surfaces;
  • If you notice consistent color variations or indentations in the transfer print, check the condition of the blanket promptly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between 8mm, 9mm, and 10mm thicknesses?
All three thicknesses are available; the specific choice depends on the machine model, roller diameter, and process requirements. If you’re unsure, provide your machine model information and we’ll help you determine the correct one.

How often does the blanket need to be replaced?
Under normal operating conditions, the service life is approximately 1.5 to 2 years; high-temperature and prolonged continuous operation will shorten its lifespan, with actual wear and tear serving as the determining factor.

Can I purchase just the blanket without buying the equipment?
Yes. The blanket is a standalone consumable; minimum order quantity is one piece. Simply provide the dimensions to place a separate order.

How do I confirm the dimensions?
The most reliable method is to provide the laid-out dimensions of the original blanket, the machine model information, or a photo of the original blanket; we will verify the fit based on your equipment.

Can this blanket be used with a flatbed heat press?
No. This blanket is designed exclusively for sublimation drum transfer machines (drum heat presses).

If you need a quote or want to confirm dimensions, please send us the machine model, drum diameter, width, and desired thickness.
