It is essential to have one. The printed film can only be heat-pressed onto the fabric after it has been dusted with heat-melt powder and dried to cure; without a powder-dusting machine, the film cannot be used.

They must be used together. The surface of a DTF-printed film consists only of ink; it must undergo the steps of powder application (sprinkling hot-melt adhesive powder), excess powder recovery, and drying and curing before the powder layer can firmly bond the design to the fabric.

Therefore, the printer and powder-spraying machine are complementary equipment, and their print widths must match: a 300mm printer is paired with the DF300, while a 600mm printer is paired with the DF900L or DF700Pro.
