Is a DTF powder shaker a must-have?
This is an essential component of the system. The DTF printer only prints the design onto the film; the film itself is not adhesive. The design must first pass through a powder shaker to apply hot-melt adhesive powder, then have excess powder collected, and finally be dried and cured before heat pressing, so that the design adheres firmly to the fabric.
We recommend selecting a printer and powder-sprinkling machine with matching print widths: a 300mm print width should be paired with the DF300 powder-sprinkling and drying machine, while a 600mm print width should be paired with the DF900L or DF700Pro powder-sprinkling and drying machine.
Please send us the fabric type, width, production capacity, and design requirements, and our engineers will provide tailored recommendations based on the equipment configuration.
