What is the purpose of automatic edge alignment? Is it necessary to include it?
The automatic edge-alignment system uses an infrared edge detector to monitor the position of the fabric edge in real time and automatically correct any deviations, ensuring that the rolled fabric has straight edges and consistent tension. Manual edge alignment relies on the human eye; while this works for rolling a few dozen meters, it can lead to deviations when rolling an entire batch.
If your downstream processes involve automatic cutting tables, continuous heat transfer printing, or if you need to store and ship full rolls, we recommend using automatic edge alignment. Our automatic edge alignment models can handle fabric widths up to 1,900 mm and feature a 2.2 kW motor, ensuring stable operation even with heavy rolls of fabric.
Please send us the fabric type, width, production capacity, and design requirements, and our engineers will provide tailored recommendations based on the equipment configuration.
