Case Study on Process Validation and Delivery of a Roller Transfer Printer for Home Textile Fabrics

Home textile fabrics are characterized by wide widths, continuous patterns, and large order batches; the uniformity of temperature and fabric stability during the transfer printing process directly determine the appearance of the finished product.
Project Requirements
- The fabric has a wide width, requiring uniform temperature distribution across the entire width;
- Continuous patterns demand high fabric-feeding stability;
- Transfer parameters must accommodate fabrics of different weights;
- Color consistency and a soft hand feel must be maintained after mass production begins.
Solution and Validation
We configured a roller transfer machine tailored to the customer’s fabric width and production capacity targets, and completed fabric inspection, fabric feeding tests, and temperature uniformity checks prior to shipment. The customer sent multiple batches of fabric for prototyping, and we determined and documented process parameters separately based on the differences in each fabric.
Installation and Production Launch
After the equipment arrived on-site, we completed installation, commissioning, and process calibration, followed by a trial production phase. During this phase, we worked closely with the client’s production team to monitor color consistency, hand feel, and efficiency data. Once stability was confirmed, we transitioned to full-scale production.
Delivery Results
After the equipment went into operation, the quality of bulk transfer printing for home textile fabrics remained stable, with color variation across the width controlled within the acceptance limits. The operating team also developed the ability to independently adjust process parameters.
