What is the difference between a single-sided, dual-station heat transfer machine and a double-sided, dual-station heat transfer machine?
Single-sided, dual-station machines complete the transfer on one side at a time; manually flipping the material is required to transfer to the other side. Double-sided, dual-station machines can press both sides at once, eliminating the need to flip the material.
For products such as neck labels, woven ribbons, socks, and underwear—which require patterns on both sides—using a double-sided machine can significantly reduce labor and minimize missed transfers. If only one side requires a pattern, a single-sided machine is more cost-effective.
