Can elastic bands, shoelaces, lanyards, and pet leashes be heat-transferred as well?
Narrow, elastic materials such as elastic bands, shoelaces, lanyards, pet leashes, and backpack straps can all be printed using dye-sublimation transfer. The key lies in tension control: if the tension is unstable, the design will distort when stretched, causing the dimensions to be off.
In addition to dedicated web transfer machines, small-format roller transfer machines (with an effective heating area of 200 × 700 mm) are often used for these narrow, small items because they take up little space and allow for flexible job changes. Send us the specifications of your web material, and we’ll provide the corresponding tension and speed settings.
Please send us the fabric type, width, production capacity, and design requirements, and our engineers will provide tailored recommendations based on the equipment configuration.
